One of the main goals of HUERTOS MONTSERRAT has been and it will continued being to get a quality for over the average level of the market, been always the best ally in economic results terms and a hard way that will allow HUERTOS MONTSERRAT to keep developing the business challenge of the fresh and dehydrated fruit.

Apples :
We have 9 varieties, Red Chief, Fuji , Royal Gala, Granny Smith ( and the new varieties), Galaxy, Brokfield Gala, Pacific Gala and Fuji Raku Raku with a total  area of 120 hectares which results in the production of 140,000 packed boxes and exported for the next season. These varieties of the fourth generation will increase our production to 40,000 more boxes for the next seasons. Our main markets are Europe,  the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia and Taiwan.

   

Kiwi Hayward :
The harvest season is between March 25 and April 15 with a daily production of 2,000 boxes which brings  us a total production of 45,000 boxes. The fruit is pre-frozen with a blow of cold air at 0 degrees Celsius and  kept in special containers for kiwi, which assures the good preservation and transportation of the fruit. Our main markets are Europe, United States and Mexico.

 

Thompson Seedless Grapes :
The geographic area where we are located is perfect for the production of grapes which assures an excellent quality. The harvest runs from  February 18 until  March 20 with a daily production of  3,500 boxes which are pre-frozen with a blow of cold for later to be  maintained in containers at 0 degrees Celsius.
The total production is 60,000 boxes exported. The main markets are Europe, the United States and Central America.

   

Pears :
With two main varieties called Conference and Beurre bocs, with a total production of 5,000 boxes that are sold mainly in Europe.


Plum D’agen :
With a production of  80,000 boxes of  10 net  kilos which are dehydrated in eight drying tunnels with a drying capacity of 100,000 kilos (daily) of fresh fruit, that results in a final dehydrated product of 30,000 kilos (daily). The process of  weighing , “tiernizado“, and packing of the fruit is carried out in our own industry with the latest  generation of machines.
The main markets are Mexico, Brazil, Spain, France and Germany.
